hjKnee Electrical Superstore (Trowbridge) 9am to 5.30pm Monday - Saturday. We have a free customer car par at the rear of the store on Church Street!
All our stores are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Trowbridge has very good parking both in terms of numbers of and charges for spaces, with the Multi-storey providing 450 free parking spaces and The Shires with 1,000 spaces at low short term rates (30p for 2 hours).
History
We are an independent and family owned business based in the town centre of Trowbridge, Wiltshire's County Town.
hjKnee Department Store is the oldest department store in the West Country and has a loyal customer base from Wiltshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Dorset.
Established in 1879 by my Great, Great Grandfather - Mr Henry John Knee, we have been involved in many aspects of local business from refitting boats in the Bristol docks to rebuilding piers (including the Brighton pier and Penarth pier), but for well over a hundred years the backbone of our success has been our thriving retail businesses which run from our two department stores, in Trowbridge and Malmesbury, as well as our Electrical Superstore, also in Trowbridge.

Our engineering businesses Knee Agricultural Machinary (KAM) and MAB - KAM was founded by my Grandfather John Hebden Knee in 1964 and operates from its offices and warehouse in Trowbridge.
